The Van Fleet Foundation, Inc. is a tax-exempt, not-for-profit corporation established in the State of Florida.

Our Mission

Our mission is to honor the life and legacy of General James Alward Van Fleet and to share his knowledge, wisdom and inspiration.

Our Goals Are To

  • Digitize and publish General Van Fleet’s archives of documents, photos and other media that will be freely accessible over the Internet to anyone in the World for research,
  • Educate future leaders and inspire them with the "Will To Win".
  • Promote historical research, publish articles, present speeches and conduct seminars to educate the public and future generations about the lessons to be learned from the life and leadership of General Van Fleet.
  • Celebrate and promote his legacy by recognizing achievements that exemplify General Van Fleet's leadership and his motto, "The Will to Win".
